Teacup Yorkie dog is similar with the other teacup dogs that have been bred to be smaller than the standard that is less than 7 pounds. Teacup Yorkie may weigh only 2 to 3 pounds with tiny and fragile bones that require extra care and attention. Beside of that, feeding schedule and nutrition composition also become big responsibility that should be understood for both of breeder and future owner. With its tiny size, the teacup Yorkie dog will also eat a little amount of food at one sitting. Feed your Yorkie with high-quality puppy food which is specially designed for small breeds. You can feed them throughout the day based on the feeding schedule at least twice a day. And you can gradually increase the amount of their food if they are still hungry.


Even though the teacup Yorkie dog does not eat too much, they are still active and really love to play. You can add one or two treats during the breaks. It will keep their energy to do anything they wanted.
